Poems in Therapy

12/11/2019, 00:00:00

Psychotherapy is a mutual, creative, and challenging process. Our basic tool is communication. Sometimes there is nothing better but poetry that helps clients Express Themselves and / or find a Lighthouse on Their Journeys. Other times, we write poetry together! Like this one........

Shrinking Woman by Lily Myers:

"Women in my family have been shrinking for decades."

OR

She Said by Amir Sulaiman

"I know that being a man is more than being male, and I am focused on doing it right."

And so I started to collect poems that at some point helped in my therapy room!
