Shaping the new year: A lot is just in your hands

Several educators from prestigious universities shared their tips for making the new year a good one! I am simplifying and rephrasing them a bit to make it easy to grab and run with them!
1. Make a list of all the activities you ever came accross and made you happy. Such a portfolio will be a good source of coping skills at times when you need it. Even if you touch every and each of them once a while, it counts! Keep them alive.
2. Do not complain, ask what you want and need.
3. We can shape our personality. Pick one thing you want to improve about yourself, imagine you are that person and play that person for a day or so, track your attemps and keep awareness of them.
4. Hug properly - I am in general a big believer of a magic power of good, long, genuine hugs, in people's connections.
5. Help your self-discipline by creating a pressure on yourself by having a friend or a family member, a.k.a. a team player with whom you work on projects, assignments....simultaneously.
6. Go to grown up camps! I had no idea, something like that exists! But it does. For real LOL
